… Well, if that’s not dumb fuckery of the highest order, I don’t know what is.
Because let’s be honest, “hope and wait” is never a business strategy that should be entertained by any self-made man worth his sole.
… Especially when it’s reliant on someone else or something else.
Case in point, this vaccine.
You see when the rubber hits the road, and the dust of the B-I-G announcement settles….
- What happens if they can’t buy enough units…
- What happens if they fuck up the roll-out…
- What happens if they take another 12 months to kick it in…
It’s why in my opinion and in my experience, no man in this tribe should ever be reliant on something he cannot directly influence.
… And exactly why being reliant on any ONE thing will be the downfall of even the most successful among us:
That includes:
- Reliance on one customer
- Reliance on one system
- Reliance on one supplier
Which brings me on to the golden shower of advice for today…
Yes, the news of this ONE vaccine should be treated as good, BUT I’d have every man of value consider, there are 7 things more important to focus on right now:
- Your Environment
- Your Mindset
- Your Customers
- Your Systems
- Your Automation
- Your Contingency
- Your Deployment
(Not necessarily in that order.)
Now, the always “be positive” crowd won’t like this list much.
But if you’re reading about this vaccine, thinking positively about money starting to fall from the sky – you’ve got bigger problems.
Anyway, enough said.
