Someone called bollox on my call to kill reliance on employees…
“Charlie, I’m with you on employees. Mine are not only profit vampires but sanity, soul, and headspace vampires as well. But I need them. I have a tree surgery biz and growing without staff is bollox.” Jim, Chester.
Now, Jim is wrong.
But, I can see how he got there.
Many folks feel the same.
And often call me a B.S. merchant as a result.
Whether it’s tree surgery or brain surgery, they look at the ‘doing the do’ of those businesses and say:
“You can’t automate that.”
And in one way they’re right.
Yet I’d have you consider that running a business, especially a successful one, means it is never only doing the do’.
- There’s quoting, follow-up, and customer questions.
- There’s marketing, social media, and office management.
- There’s project management, supply ordering, and invoicing.
And that’s just scratching the surface.
At best 30% of employee time is spent on this sort of stuff, at worst it’s their whole gig.
And this is where automation is king.
Automation can take away all of this kinda work away, without sucking the profit.
And without the headaches, the sick leave, and the emotional baggage of human employees.
Imagine your business without those tasks for a second…
How many hours would you save?
How many employees could you lose?
How much more profit would you make?
… Because here’s the thing.
There is no secret sauce to hitting £1M+ without an army of employees.
However, automating these kinds of tasks is how the men here do it quicker and more efficiently than most.
Whether they are a butcher, baker or candlestick maker and it’s why men here follow the S.A.S Protocols™ religiously…
- Simplifying for profit.
- Automating for freedom.
- Scaling to build the war chest.
Reality is, it has never been easier. It’s how…
… Hayden finally hit £1.5M after automating over 2,175 man-hours of work.
… Paul from N. Wales scaled from 350K to £1M+ after 5 years of being stood still.
… Steve scaled to £76k per month with just one employee.
Now I will confess, these guys have a massive leg up.
The War Room, where I have all sorts of automation and the like so that even the biggest tech luddite can crack on and build a profit war chest.
So, Jim, I’ll say it again…
Kill the reliance on employees.
