How I deal with spoiled arsehole employees

At last week’s Fellowship meeting, a member revealed a shocking conversation he had with a member of his so-called team.

A ransom note and list of demands that went like this: 

“Boss – I now need…

  • A 30% pay raise… 
  • 4 days more holiday… 
  • Work from home 3 days a week… 
  • Pay for off-hours training… 

… And the ability to start late so I can drop the kids off at school.

If you don’t make that happen, I’m walking and getting a job elsewhere”

Blackmail and a sad state of affairs that seems to be becoming more and more common as this new economy starts to rapidly emerge.

Seems that now more than ever, the reward for the risks that men like you and I take is an expectation that we will bend over the barrel as babysitters… caregivers… and servants for those YOU pay, to do a job.

It’s why for me and in all my business interests my TOP PRIORITY is always to keep shit lean.

That means minimum employees and maximizing automated systems.

I find it’s the ONLY way to put a bullet in the back of the head of the kind of high costs, high pressures, and low margins that come from having spoiled arsehole employees.

It comes back to One Man Empire Iron Law #8… Automate or die!

A mantra for money that in the last six months alone has been responsible for helping the men of this horde get results.

… Because there’s a funny thing that happens when you start to let the machines rise, the dickhead demands stop and the work gets done –  without you having to lift a finger or being bent over the barrel.
