Last week I wrote something about Starmer screwing small businesses…
And things kicked off.
For a non social media influencer like me anyway.
Some comments were insightful.
Some were supportive.
Some just hated my guts.
So I wanted to lay my political cards on the table.
My allegation?
You. Me. And every other person running a small business in the UK today.
The folks without a silver spoon that have been bold and built something of their own…. only to get kicked in the teeth at every turn.
This isn’t about red or blue.
The Tories have been hell bent on doing it for the past decade or so.
And it looks like Starmer is about to make things a whole lot worse.
See, whilst Labour talks about the mess the last government left, take a wild guess at who is footing that bill?
Businesses.
Specifically yours. And mine.
Again.
Which is ironic, given politicians love to talk about ‘growth’ but do everything they can to suffocate it.
For a good long while small businesses have been the punching bag for the government.
And what’s more frustrating is the general public seem to enjoy it.
Forgetting that whilst these measures may apply to the fat cats and big corporates (if they don’t find a way to get out of them)…
…they also apply to small businesses too.
Real people that have put everything on the line to build something of their own, only to get screwed at every turn.
So I will sign off the way I signed off that controversial email…
They are coming for you and your business.
Things will get harder.
Now is the time to put yourself, your money and your family first.
Don’t say you weren’t warned.
