OK, so let’s talk lead generation.
It’s on the back of a Crusader Call-In with Fellowship members last week, where the question raised was:
“Charlie – Our cost to get a lead through Google Ads is going through the roof… WTF?!”
… Or in other words, the age-old question of how do you win faster, by getting cheaper leads when advertising costs start to creep.
You don’t, because here’s what to consider about this kind of arsehole thinking.
Trying to figure out how to get “cheaper” leads in most circumstances, and especially as you scale, is a loose-loose.
#1 – It puts you in a contraction mindset. AKA one that says I’m not willing to invest to grow.
#2 – Cheap leads, at scale, and in my experience are low quality and come with BIG headaches.
Meaning the REAL question, that most men in this game would be wise to ask when faced with the same situation, is…
How the fuck can I SPEND MORE money to get a lead?
… Or you could say, how can I ruthlessly sweat each lead, so I get more bang for my buck.
Right now and in this new economy, there are three ways that you can do this best:
- Increase the rate at which leads make a purchase.
- Increase the value of the purchase made.
- Increase the rate at which a second purchase is made.
… And then make sure that you do all three CONSISTENTLY, PREDICTABLY and EFFICIENTLY.
The best way to do that?
