Call me controversial but I strongly believe this…
Christmas Eve is better than the big day.
Waaaaaaay better in fact.
All of the excitement.
None of the rules.
And zero meltdowns.
Hopefully, right now you are ‘off’ the clock…
Getting ready for the big day.
Now, in my house, tomorrow will be fairly traditional.
Apart from… no turkey.
Bluregh.
And no Christmas pudding.
Double bleurgh.
Rules are made to be broken right?
There will be:
Roast Beef.
Yorkshire Puddings.
Piña Colada.
But that’s by the by, this email is about you, not me.
So as you read this today…
…Maybe you’re knee-deep in last-minute wrapping.
…Maybe you’re down the pub with friends.
… Or maybe you are desperately trying to exhaust your kids so they go to bed tonight.
Whatever today looks like for you, I’d urge you to do this.
Turn off.
Enjoy yourself.
This year has been another tough one for many running a business.
And I suspect you will have worked harder than most, faced more challenges than most, and have made more tough decisions along the way.
