Call me controversial but I strongly believe this…
Christmas Eve is better than the big day.
Waaaaaaay better in fact.
All of the excitement.
None of the rules.
And zero meltdowns.
Hopefully, right now you are ‘off’ the clock…
Getting ready for the big day.
Now, in my house, tomorrow will be fairly traditional.
Apart from this…
No Turkey.
Bluregh.
Oh and they’ll be no Christmas pudding either.
Double bleurgh.
Rules are made to be broken right?
There will however be:
Roast Beef.
Yorkshire Puddings.
Piña Colada.
But that’s by the by…
This email is about you, not me.
So as you read this today…
Maybe you’re knee-deep in last-minute wrapping…
Maybe you’re down the pub with friends…
… Or maybe you are desperately trying to get your kids to bed early.
Whatever today looks like for you, I’d urge you to do this.
Turn off.
Enjoy yourself.
You have earned it.
You deserve it.
