The other week, I was reminded why the general public is not to be tolerated…
Under any circumstances.
See, there I was at the outer gates of hell….
…aka I went to Waitrose, Lichfield.
The car park was heaving.
The store was swelteringly hot.
The din from the shoppers was unbearably loud.
My mission?
Get in, get burgers, get out.
As fast as humanly possible.
Sadly (for me) I got stuck in the T-H-A-T queue.
The slow queue.
The woman in front had a trolley stacked to the rafters.
And she was chewing the checkout assistant’s ear off.
See, this woman was moaning about money.
A lot.
Things were so bad she couldn’t afford a holiday this year.
Apparently ‘the little ones are gutted.’
Now, I had zero sympathy.
This woman could afford a holiday.
She was choosing not to.
And blaming others for her choices.
First up, she was choosing to do her shop in Waitrose.
A place famed for being over priced.
Next up, the contents of her trolley…
The nice wine.
The posh gin.
The good burgers.
The triple cooked chips.
The really really good ice cream.
Like I said.
Choices.
Trouble is, people like this are everywhere.
They are unavoidable.
Your employees… your neighbours… even your family.
And for men like you and I, contamination from these kinds of folks is dangerous.
Because they slowly pollute your mind and your environment, making scaling to £1M+ in this game, that much harder.
It comes back to One Man Empire Iron Law #8:
Contamination: Avoid The Weak-Willed & The Weak-Minded.
One of twelve Iron Laws, that are the difference between the haves and the have nots, especially when it comes to money and freedom.
I documented all twelve in my last book, ‘The Forbidden Secrets Of A One Man Empire.’
And today, you can get that book on Amazon for a non Waitrose level bargain.
