I’ve been sitting on this post below for a couple of weeks now…
It was levelled and laid bare at 7.19 pm on March 28th, inside of “Tribe” our private Fellowship app by a man in our group.
Here it is:
“Good news, we got a totally unsolicited mention in Forbes today – unfortunately, it wasn’t the rich list, but can’t complain! I showed my wife – she told me to take the bins out :-)”
Hmmm…
Bold words and a B-I-G win, with the last line being the most important revelation:
“I showed my wife – she told me to take the bins out“
… Especially when you consider, in the same week, this individual also got an eight-figure valuation on his business – after almost being dead and buried 12 months ago.
An all too familiar crushing of souls, that I suspect rings true, for too many a man on this journey.
Which is why I’m writing this post today.
Because the way I see it, like most others in this tribe, each and every single day you are willing to risk what others refuse to risk – and in most cases for ZERO recognition.
… Despite doing all of this, to provide and protect OTHERS.
Now, when this tribe started I vowed that no man would ever be left behind and that no man would be left alone.
Meaning this week and moving forward, when battles are won, lands are conquered and demons are destroyed…
I’m urging you to hit reply and let me have the details and the debrief.
Good or bad, there will be no judgement from me.
I will read it, I will respond and I will not ask you to take the fucking bins out!
Truth is – now more than ever, it’s never been more important for men like you and I to be able to trust and stand shoulder to with others who get it.
