Back to school…
For many this has been the first week back.
Hallelujah.
A whiff of normality can resume.
Sadly in our house normality is paused. ..
Phase two of the wonky barn reno kicks off.
Yesterday there were more transit vans here than at a dodgy burger wagon on the A50.
Thankfully (for me) next week I escape to Portugal, leaving my wife in charge.
Emma plus tradies… what could possibly go wrong?
Answer: everything.
Anyway, back to school and September.
We’re now officially in the last push of the year.
Personally, I view this as my last quarter.
Unless you sell Christmas trees, December is usually a right off.
90 days or so left.
Which means now you face a choice.
And for a second, imagine Christmas….
The presents are done, the lunch has been eaten, the celebrations have been cracked open.
Are you happy with where you are now?
Or, do you want more?
Because wanting more is ok..
More happiness? More money? More fitness?
And 90 days is just enough time to make a move.
Whether that’s business, pleasure, or anything in between.
Now let me be clear, Average Joe will do nothing, even though he is usually very unhappy with his lot.
He will sit on his ass and do what most do….
‘Wait till new year.’
And nothing will change.
Not this year, not next, not for the ten after that.
See waiting is a fool’s errand.
Fortune favours the build…
And fortune favours those who get off their arse and do.
