This week I’m going to let you in on a secret about yours truly…
One that’s very (very) un-British.
The secret?
I love a queue jumper.
Someone who has the brass balls to jump to the front of the line – without waiting.
Truth is, I actively discourage ‘waiting patiently.’
The fact that we’re taught in school to sit nicely and wait our turn explains a lot about the world that we live in today.
… And shines a big light on why most men in this game stay stood still or sat on their hands.
Because waiting is always a fool’s errand and a guaranteed road to nowhere.
Sad truth is, far too many good men are waiting for their turn….
Waiting their whole lives for things to change.
And if history has taught me anything, it very rarely does.
Unless you ACT.
It’s why today, and as this week rolls in I’m urging you STOP waiting…
.Stop waiting for permission
.Stop waiting for tomorrow
.Stop waiting for the stakes to be lower
.Stop waiting for that project to be done
.Stop waiting for more time
.Stop waiting for the right time
.Stop waiting for reassurance
.Stop waiting for more cash in the bank
.Stop waiting for the divorce to come through
.Stop waiting till you lose a stone
.Stop waiting for Brexit to come good
.Stop waiting for Brexit to be reversed
.Stop waiting for the kids to sleep through the night
.Stop waiting for the kids to move out
.Stop waiting for an election
.Stop waiting for a sign
.Stop waiting to a miracle
.Stop waiting for a set of instructions
.Stop waiting for the new employee to start
.Stop waiting for the competition to screw up
.Stop waiting for a less turbulent time
.Stop waiting for next week…
… And START saddling up and moving.
Now.
Today.
With speed and at full force.
You see 2024 is here for the taking.
Time to take action to push yourself (and your family) to the next level.
