The one thing I’d do differently if starting again comes back to a fun meeting with the accountant the other week.
…That is not a joke.
It was fun and there was no booze.
It started with this:
“Charlie, our big customers would like to have as much in the bank as you.”
Now, that statement can be taken two ways…
Firstly, I’m no ‘big’ customer.
With three salaries to cover I’m hardly Jeff Bezos so that’s fair.
Secondly, the rainy day fund is healthy.
Which is good for me and instructive for you…
Because I’ve not invented the cure for cancer, got a windfall from Daddy, or worked all the hours god sends.
The only reason I’m here?
Profit.
And a consistent focus on it.
Easily done by all men in this game.
See, I’m test case number one for the S.A.S Protocols™.
Simplifying for profit. Automating for freedom. Scaling to build the war chest
And when you put profit top of the list consistently then over the weeks, months and years that adds up.
And let’s be honest, I’m not pyssing it up the wall.
Nice house, not a McMansion.
Nice car, not a Ferrari.
Nice holidays, not my own private island.
Which comes back to what the accountant asked next…
“What’s the one thing you would do differently if starting again?”
Easy.
Get consistent.
It ain’t shiny.
And it ain’t sexy.
But it sure does have teeth.
Especially if you want money in your back pocket.
Truth is, you have leeway up to the 200K-300K mark.
But past that, and as you push to £1M+ consistency is how to get results.
It’s how Paul in North Wales is up from 65K to £117K per month.
Matt in the Highlands scaled to £130K per month.
And how Steve in the West Mids hit £1.4M with just one employee.
Fun in this game isn’t found in the shiny objects.
It’s found in constantly whacking a chunk of change away so that you can live life on your terms.
And if you are ready to get consistent and push to £1M+ without an army of employees your next steps are simple:
