Before we get into it today, I want to give you fair warning…
Chances are this will touch a nerve.

So here’s how this thing went down…
Back in July, a new guy made an application to join One Man Empire.
He made it through the interview, was offered a place, and bit off my arm.
The date was set for him to join once the summer holidays were done and dusted.
September rolls around and Sue gets an email…
“I need to talk to Charlie.”
(Never a great sign.)
Anyway, we get on the phone, and turns out this guy can’t commit and wants to back out – before he even starts.
Apparently, he’s drowning and can’t break out of his business for two days on the bounce.
Now don’t get me wrong, I was grateful he told me.
It meant the next man in line could step up to the plate.
… But for him?
Well, for him, the hard reality is this…
If you can’t step away from your business for two days straight, it isn’t a business.
It’s a glorified job.
In fact, if you can’t step away for more than 48hrs, without sweating bullets, you probably need what I do here more than most.
And I get it.
Men like you and I build things from the ground up.
But if you don’t choose to break the reliance and remove the linchpin, you’ll always be fcked.
Reacting to employees, customers and the other day-to-day drudgery that drowns even the most ambitious of men.
Leaving you on the hamster wheel, in a constant state of overwhelm, fatigue and panic.
No wonder so many stand still and can’t scale up.
The painful reality is this – there is an easy way out of this hell hole.
But you’ve got to commit to the cause.
The cause in my two groups being:
