I had a late “Easter” catch-up with an old friend last week and his (pitiful) attitude so far to 2023 can be summed up in one short sentence:
“Why Me?!?!”
My response:
“Why NOT You?”
… Because let me be clear, in this game that we choose to play….
- No one is coming to save you.
- No dip in inflation is going to fix it for you.
- No promise from the Prime Minister is going to do the work for you.
In my experience, true power comes to those men who OWN their decisions and OWN their actions.
Dithering, delaying or playing the victim is always a FATAL MISTAKE.
You will ‘miss the boat.’
Your business will shrink.
You will not get what you want.
And your results (or lack thereof) will be on you.
Meaning, this week is time to CHOOSE.
Continue to play the victim…
Moan that no one is coming to save you…
Hideaway reading books, listening to podcasts, watching videos…
Or – step up, become more powerful, TAKE ACTION and get some.
Make More. Provide More. Be More.
