Your Pricing Strategy For Scale

Let’s talk about a tortuously terrible idea…

Going to Las Vegas.

In late August.

At the height of their heat.

And as a ginger.

… Just like my mate Jim did last week.

A man so ginger he makes Ed Sheeran seem tall, dark, and handsome.

His description of the place:

“Hotter than the Devil’s hairdryer.”

… and his reason for choosing to go bake himself alive in August?

“It was dirt cheap!”

Ahhhh, that old chestnut.

… And a stark reminder for men like you and I about the psychology of pricing.

If something is cheap, 9 times out of ten there is a good reason.

And the alarm bells should start ringing.

Case in point Emma, my wife, who last week put a bullet in the back of a head of a personal trainer, because “at £50 they’re probably bad.”

Because let me be clear, cheap always kills confidence.

  • If a car is cheap you ask what’s really wrong with it.
  • If a steak is cheap you ask what’s really in it.
  • If a hotel room is too cheap you ask what’s really happened in that bed.

The flip side being, premium always creates poise and positioning.

  • A Tomahawk is reassuringly expensive.
  • A Ferrari is reassuringly expensive.
  • A bed on an aeroplane is reassuringly expensive.

The point being this.

Does your current pricing reflect your true value?

… And more importantly does you’re current pricing gives you the scope of scale needed, in order to get to £1M+.

Because in my experience, most men in this game should charge double.

It’s often the single biggest difference between standing still and scale.

After all, when you start selling at double the price, you only need to deliver half of the output.

Which means:

  • 50% less customers.
  • 50% less staff
  • 50% less headaches.

… All while putting more money in the bank.

Truth is, nailing a pricing strategy for scale is one of the keys to the kingdom that allows for the men in my groups to get results like this:

Matt who scaled to 101k a month after getting rid of two employees.

Steve who scaled to 76k a month with just one other member of staff.

Alan and his brother who have scaled to 105k a month with 30k profit in their two-man operation.

… Yet, let me be clear.

… Before they decided to apply and join us, most were plateaued and struggling at £25-35k per month.

Meaning the, if you’re ready to scale to a 1M+ without adding more employees, then here’s what to do next:
