Picture the scene…

It’s 4.15 pm, it’s hot, loud, and stinks of chlorine. 

I’m sitting watching my son swim and in walks a woman, phone in hand.

She shuffles along the spectator bench and sits next to me to watch her kid swim. 

Now here’s where it gets interesting….

She looks at her phone, puts it to silent, and then turns to me to start her confession… 

“I’m supposed to be dialling into the team meeting right now. I told my boss that I’m having internet issues so I could bring Oliver here!” 

Then it gets better… 

“I do it every week [smirks].” 

WTF?! 

Now… I don’t mind she’s at swimming.

… B-U-T I do mind she’s lying about.

Especially when she’s getting paid to be somewhere else.

It only goes to prove One Man Empire Iron Law #27.

Never Put Too Much Trust In Employees –  Learn To Assume Lies And Inconsistency

They are human after all. 

Yet here’s the problem with inconsistency in any business…

It leaves you exposed, vulnerable and open to attack.

If history has taught me anything it’s that even on its best day, an inconsistent operation will struggle to push to 1M+. 

And if it somehow manages to get there, profit will be pitiful.

It’s why right now, you would be wise to consider a ruthless focus on consistency at all costs…

Especially if you like profit, wealth or freedom.

Best way to get it?

Automation.

Consider that using automation to consistently handle: 

  • Automatically communicating with customers.
  • Automatically delegating to employees.
  • Automatically updating on projects.

It’s why automation and systematisation are the bread butter of the One Man Empire way.

Because it scales. 

With speed and at full force.
